Gini's head surgery was a little over a year ago. She suffered from Chiari Malformation II causing numbness over her left arm that I can't resolve. She had a "brain surgery" (technically surgery around the brain) and in 3 days she was home. Two weeks after, we returned to the hospital due to complications. After heated discussions with the 2 teams of doctors handling her case, we figured it was aseptic meningitis secondary to graft rejection.
Honestly, it felt to me that she was able to do better in whatever she does after her recovery. Was microchip inserted in her brain? LOL. Even after sports activities when I know she is sore, she manages her own pain. Sometimes doing her own physiotherapy treatment. Must have learned it from her sisters :-)
She is a 13 year old body invaded by a 35 year old brain. She wouldn't ask me for help, just like her sisters. I don't know if it is a good thing but one thing is for sure. I miss my baby girls...

During the spinal tap last year.. they did not find any bacteria by the way.
